The Great Los Angeles Area Food Tour

Our first weekend tour for the Southland! Los Angeles is the first
city I gave a tour in 1981. Now I am bringing all of my students from
around the country to the Los Angeles area to share the great foods,
wines and produce! You will be back and soon I bet! This tour is already 1/2 full!

Fall Apple and Wine Tour


We will start our day with a Continental Breakfast at The Center. We will board our motor coach at 10:15am sharp. Our first stop will be at a historic Cucamonga winery (Older then the ones of Napa and Sonoma) A tour and tasting of the wines and grounds. Learn how these wines are made differently then any others. You will have ample time to shopin their gift shop. Then off to the beautiful country side of Oak Glen in San Bernardino County. Our first stop will be a catered lunch. And then to The Snow Line Apple Company. We will see Apple Cider Demonstrations, Apple Sauce making, Grading of Apples, and get a sack of apples to go home with. They also may have there Autumn raspberry harvest going on. We will also stop in a few other orchards to try their flavorful apples. We will have plenty of time for shopping in the vast Oak Glen antique stores and apple farms.

Los Angeles Produce and Flower Market Shopping Tour

Yes we depart at 4:30am. It is my number one tour! It will be sold out so sign up early! If you have not been on this tour in years, we have changed it! We start by walking the LA Terminal Produce Market, Then to the largest flower market in the continent. Stop for a bite at Phillips (approx cost $9.00). Then off to Grand Central Market with a little insight on LA's Past through the buildings, where you can purchase spices and Hispanic treats. Then off to an artesian ice cream maker for a tasting of his rich delights. Next, off to taste samplings from cookbooks and to look at the array of books for purchase at the worlds best cookbook store. Before returning home we will stop past Surfas Supply, home to chefs for decades and still owned by the Surfas Family.
